Cherry Bowl by Tom Cadwalader
The above bowl is a piece of cherry that was cored from a larger bowl. It was cored but wasn't turned on the inside. It was just put away for a year or more inside a paper bag.
I feel as though the pictures don't quite capture the true tone of the wood. I might be a little biased, but I think it looks better than the picture shows.
The bowl is 7 1/4 " x 2 3/4" with a mineral oil and wax finish.
It was intended to be a bowl for our personal use.......but my wife things it should be sold.

I like the form of this bowl. I have a hard time getting a nice bead like that without tearout in the cherry. Nice job Tom.
